Liverpool have identified Roma’s in-form attacker Mohamed Salah as the man who can bolster the Reds’ forward line next season, Goal.com reports.
The Reads approached the Egyptian in 2014 but the player eventually chose a move to Chelsea instead, where he stayed for two unsuccessful years before moving to his current club Roma in last year.

Salah has been in outstanding form in Seria A this season, having scored 11 goals and assisted for 10 more. With Salah’s current form and his contract running to 2019, Liverpool may find Roma’s unwillingness to sell their man for less than £30-35 million a bit off-putting.

The situation may also change should Liverpool’s other wide-man target, Arsenal’s Oxlade-Chamberlain, decide to leave the Emirates.
