Liverpool are in the final stages of completing a deal for Falkrik’s 18-year-old defender Tony Gallacher, according to the Scottish Sun.
The youngster is likely to cost around £200,000 and will be Klopp’s second signing in January following the arrival of Virgil Van Dijk from Southampton for £75 million earlier.
Gallacher, who is a Falkrik youth product, plays as a left-back and has made 26 appearances for the first team so far this season. He recently spent time on trial with Liverpool, impressing the manager enough to convince him to launch an official bid for him.

It is understood Klopp has been monitoring Gallacher’s progress for a number of years. The deal comes despite reported interest for the defender from Manchester United and Stoke City.
Gallacher will join the Liverpool U23s in bid to help his progress on his way to the first team.
The deal is expected to be announced by the club in the coming days.
