Liverpool's Max Woltman joins Oxford United

Max Woltman has made a permanent move to Oxford United.

The 19-year-old attacker, who joined Liverpool at the age of seven and rose through the ranks of the Academy, completed his transfer to the League One team on Thursday.

Woltman, who was born in Wirral, leaves the Reds after making two senior appearances. In December 2021, he made his Champions League debut as a substitute in a triumph against AC Milan at San Siro. The following month, he began an Emirates FA Cup third-round victory at Anfield over Shrewsbury Town.

Woltman spent the first part of 2022–23 on loan with Doncaster Rovers, where he made 14 appearances. His career will now go on to Oxford, who placed 19th in League One last year.

Everyone at Liverpool FC extends their gratitude to Max for his contributions to the team and their best wishes for the future.
