• After Italy’s Sandro Tonali, 23, received a 10-month ban for violating the terms of his betting agreement, Newcastle is hoping to sign Al-Hilal’s 26-year-old Portuguese midfielder Ruben Neves in January. Newcastle is considering lowering Tonali’s pay in the wake of his suspension. 

• Newcastle is also contemplating signing 26-year-old Scotland international Scott McTominay of Manchester United and 27-year-old England midfielder Kalvin Phillips of Manchester City. 

• Spanish midfielder Gavi, 19, is a target for Chelsea. To get out of their current financial situation, Barcelona may need to sell Gavi for £87 million. 

• Kevin de Bruyne, a 32-year-old midfielder for Manchester City, has been contacted by Saudi Pro League authorities regarding de Bruyne relocating to the Middle East in 2024. 

• Jadon Sancho, a 23-year-old English winger, appears to have the best chance of leaving Manchester United on a loan transfer to Saudi Arabia, however, Chelsea may be an alternative if Borussia Dortmund is unwilling to let him go. 

• Despite Manchester City’s interest, Crystal Palace is convinced that 25-year-old English attacker Eberechi Eze would sign a new, long-term deal with them. 

• In their search for a midfielder to partner Declan Rice, Arsenal has prioritised signing 23-year-old Aurelien Tchouameni of Real Madrid and France for the next summer. 

•  24-year-old Spanish midfielder Martin Zubimendi of Real Sociedad is another player the Gunners have their eye on, however, Manchester United is also considering the 24-year-old. 

• Goncalo Inacio, a 22-year-old centre defender from Sporting Lisbon, is the favourite to sign with Liverpool. 

• Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo is prepared to talk about a long-term contract extension. Tottenham was also interested in signing the 26-year-old Englishman, but Monaco’s offer was turned down last summer. 

• Manchester City would need to receive an offer of at least £80 million before considering the sale of 23-year-old Argentina striker Julian Alvarez. 

• Due to a release clause in his Stuttgart contract, 23-year-old Serhou Guirassy, who is being targeted by West Ham and Brentford, will be available for about £15.2 million in January. 

• Leny Yoro, a 17-year-old French centre defender for Lille, is being watched by Chelsea. Moving future, Chelsea transfers will be decided by manager Mauricio Pochettino alone.
