Timo Werner is a German striker for RB Leipzig in whom Manchester United has shown interest and may make a bid for him in January. 

With Thomas Partey, a 30-year-old Ghanaian midfielder, out of contract, Arsenal is planning a January transfer for Douglas Luiz, a 25-year-old Brazilian who plays for Aston Villa. Partey is being pursued by Juventus, which would aid in financing Arsenal’s attempt to get Douglas Luiz.

The 25-year-old Luiz is also desired by Manchester City and Liverpool, who will compete with Arsenal for his services. 

Chelsea is preparing a one-in, one-out transfer policy that may result in many players leaving to make room for new arrivals. Two players who may depart from the Blues are England Under-21 defender Trevoh Chalobah, 24, who is for sale, and 39-year-old Brazilian defender Thiago Silva, whose contract is scheduled to expire next summer.

Marc Guehi, 23, an England centre-back for Crystal Palace, is Manchester United’s top target going into the January transfer season. 

French striker Francesco Camarda, 15, of AC Milan, is being pursued by several teams, including Manchester City and Arsenal.

The 22-year-old Mexican striker Santiago Gimenez of Feyenoord is a target for several teams, including Tottenham and Arsenal. 

English striker Mason Greenwood, 22, has drawn interest from many Premier League teams after seeing his play at Getafe.
