Brazlian youngster Kenedy made a serious claim for a first-team spot at the Cobham training grounds this week in bid to convince Conte to keep him beyond January,
The 21-year-old winger has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge after a number of incidents, including making a controversial social media post during the club’s pre-season tour in China and yawning at a team gathering following Chelsea 3-0 defeat to Roma.
The winger has managed two Carabao Cup starts this year in contrast to last season’s 14 appearances in all competitions.
But now Kenedy has sent Conte a serious message with this great performance in training:

Kenedy has drawn comparisons to Brazil teammate Hulk due to his incisive style of playing and powerful build, but has been criticised for lack of defensive responsibility – something Conte would certainly want to see more of before he gives the youngster game time.
The Brazilian’s way into the first team is currently blocked by Eden Hazard on the left side of Chelsea’s attack, and Marco Alonso at left-back.

Kenedy joined Chelsea in 2015 from Fluminese for £6.5 million. In August 2016, he was shipped off on loan to Watford where he made a single appearance before returning to Stamford Bridge in December.
The winger made his first appearance this season in Chelsea’s 5-1 League Cup victory against Nottingham Forrest in September.
