Chelsea boss Antonio Conte will let winger Willian go in the summer in attempt to sponsor the transfer of Everton’s Romelu Lukaku, the Daily Star reports.
Willian, who has three years left on his contract, is likely to cost around 60 million, and it is reported that Jose Mourinho, under whom the Brazilian played at Chelsea, is interested in making a move for the player.
The winger has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge despite being voted Player of the Year last year with Conte’s opting to use Pedro on the right wing instead.
The 28-year-old has made 13 appearances in the Premier League this season and has contributed from the bench on 17 more occasions.
Willian scored in Chelsea’s victory over Everton despite playing only five minutes and contributed with two goals for the Blues’ 4-2 victory against Tottenham Hotspur.
