Liverpool are tracking Charlton teenage star Ezri Konsa, according to British newspaper Daily Mirror.
Should the Reds decide to launch a bid for the 19-year-old defender in January, they will face competition from rivals Everton who have also expressed interest in the player.
Konsa broke through to Charlton’s first team in 2016 as he went on to win Young Player of Year after making nine appearances in all competitions that season.
He also played a role in England U20’s triumph in the World Cup in Korea last year, making his debut against Italy in the semi-final of the competition.
Konsa, who is likely to cost around £500,000, put pen to paper on a new contract with Charlton in March. His contract stretches to 2020.
