Jose Mourinho is interested in signing PSG’s Thomas Meunier, multiple sources report.
Meunier, 26, is currently plying his trade under Unai Emery but has lost his place to Dani Alves, leading many to believe that he will look for greener pastures in January.
Mourinho meanwhile will be looking for long-term solutions for Antonio Valencia who, while being outstanding on the right side of defence this season, is expected to undergo a drop in form as he turns 33 next August.
The Portuguese has Ashley Young and Matteo Darmian as potential options for this position but is believed to want to use Young elsewhere while Darmian is reportedly not happy with lack of serious playing time.

Meunier has said that he feels like a ‘second option’ to Alves despite having played two out of three games for PSG in Ligue 1.
Juventus and Real Madrid are also reported being among other clubs interested in taking advantage of the Belgian’s situation.
Meunier is currently contracted to PSG until 2020 and could cost the Red Devils in region of £30 million.
