Pep Guardiola is showing no signs of slowing down with upgrading his current squad as he has now identified PSG’s Goncalo Guedes as ideal partner to speedsters Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane, according to Don Balon.
Guedes, 21, is owned by PSG but has been plying his trade at Valencia on a season-long loan since September last year.
Guardiola, who recently mused that City are not competitive on the transfer market, approaches his £1-billion spending mark since taking the reins at the Eithad in 2016. The Catalan is well aware that PSG have to sell players in the summer in bid to conform to Financial Fair Play rules following their £200 million purchase of Brazilian star Neymar in the summer.

Guedes is also being closely monitored by Real Madrid, who are believed to be readying a bid of around £40 million for him. Guardiola, however, is thought to be willing to spend about £10 million more in bid to bring him to the Etihad.
Guedes has been part of the Portugal national team set-up since 2015. He has scored five goals in 19 games for Valencia so far this season.
