Former football manager and Massimiliano Allergi’s mentor Giovanni Galeone has advised the current Juventus manager to join the North London club saying that he could build a ‘fun and exciting’ team there.
Arsene Wenger’s contract runs out at the end of the season and with current fan dissent, changes seem likely to happen at Arsenal, with Allegri being on the forefront as Wenger’s potential replacement.
Allegri is stalling on a new deal with Juventus after four successful years at the club adorned with two back-to-back Seria A titles.
“I do not know if his cycle with Juventus is over but I told him.” Galeone said. “After winning so much, it is time to say enough! It’s not easy to leave Juventus but I hope he will go abroad. I think he’d do better in England than in Spain.
“Arsenal are a historic club. It will depend on Wenger’s decision. Massimiliano could build an exciting, fun team keeping with tradition there.
“Arsenal have players that could adapt to his style. It could be.”
Reports suggest that Wenger already has a new two-year offer on the table which is believed to be valid only if he is successful qualifying the club for the Champions League next season.
