Despite Chelsea’s continuous on-field difficulties, TBIS knows that the Blues’ owners continue to strongly support manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Chelsea’s Premier League ranking dropped to 12th after their 2-0 loss to Everton this past Sunday. Under interim manager Frank Lampard, the squad had finished in the same spot the previous season.

Pochettino’s appointment as manager and further investment in players like Romeo Lavia, Cole Palmer, and Moises Caicedo was meant to propel Chelsea to the top of the league this season, although it seems that the team’s record of just two victories in eight Premier League games has put a great deal of pressure on Pochettino.

The Argentine coach is still strongly supported by those in charge of making that choice, despite the calls from certain supporters for Pochettino to step down. It is believed that, at the end of the summer transfer window, Pochettino was not satisfied with the composition of Chelsea’s team.

Chelsea is willing to deal with both problems during the summer transfer window, but they might also move in January if an appropriate offer comes up.

Officials are prepared to make an effort to persuade Napoli to let go of Victor Osimhen this winter, but they understand that a deal is far more likely to be struck after the end of the campaign.
