Rainworth Miners Welfare FC

About Kirklington Road
Rainworth Miners Welfare FCRainworth’s ground is modest for their stature in the non leagues.  It has  two small stands on either side of the pitch whilst the rest is open to the elements.

The club has a comfy clubhouse that is the focal point for the small community.

How to get to Kirklington Road
Rainworth is a suburb of Mansfield and doesn’t have a railway station of its own.  The nearest one is Mansfield where you will need to get a bus heading for Newark to reach the ground.

If you are driving from A1 then exit at Newark onto the A46 s/p Nottingham, then follow A617 signposted Mansfield.  Keep on following this for around 15 miles, over the roundabout with the A614.  Take the first left on the roundabout signposted Rainworth after you enter Mansfield, then right at next one.  The ground is 300 yards down hill on the right.

If you are coming from M1 junction 28 follow road into Mansfield then onto the ring road, signposted Newark.  Go over roundabouts and initial set of traffic lights.  After 4 miles you will pass the ground on your right hand side.  At next roundabout turn right and then as above.

Admission to Kirklington Road
Admission is £7 for adults, £4 for concession and £2 for juniors (free if accompanied by an adult).  Programmes available inside the ground and at the gate are £1.50
